Cyclists, to the ready: Early bird registration for the TD Five Boro Bike Tour officially opened at noon Wednesday.
The 46th annual 40-mile charity ride will take place on Sunday, May 5, according to Bike New York, the nonprofit that organizes the tour.
Instructions to register for the event, which costs $134 to enter until Jan. 13, can be found here. After that, the price will jump to $139.
The car-free ride consistently garners tens of thousands of cyclists.
The ride starts in downtown Manhattan and ends on Staten Island.
Street closures are expected to be similar, if not the exact same, to past rides.
Funds raised by the event go toward free bike education programming throughout New York City, according to Bike New York.
