Seven people, including two firefighters, sustained minor injuries after a fast-moving fire broke out in Williamsburg early Friday morning, authorities said.

The FDNY said it received a 911 call reporting a fire at 137 Kingsland Ave., between Beadel and Lombardy streets, just before 4 a.m. The fire spread to homes to the left, right and rear of the building, the department said.

Footage of the blaze showed a three-story building engulfed in flames. Five of the seven people injured were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment, the FDNY said.

The two other people who were hurt refused medical attention at the scene, according to the department.

Nearly 170 firefighters and emergency personnel responded to the fire, which was deemed under control by around 7 a.m., the department said.

The Red Cross is providing eight households — including 13 adults and one child — with emergency assistance in the wake of the fire, the nonprofit said in a statement.

It wasn’t immediately clear what sparked the blaze. An investigation is ongoing.
