The teenager accused of fatally stabbing dancer O’Shae Sibley at a Brooklyn gas station last month has been indicted on charges including murder as a hate crime, prosecutors say.

The 17-year-old boy, whose name has not been released due to his age, was indicted on one count of second-degree murder as a hate crime, Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez said at a news conference Thursday.

The teen was indicted on “other counts” as well, Gonzalez said, though he did not immediately provide details about those charges.

“I hope that this message is loud and clear: In Brooklyn, we will never tolerate acts of hate crimes or any intolerance that’s directed at any particular groups,” the district attorney said. “And in this particular case, I believe that the hate crimes that are alleged in this indictment show both an anti-Black bias and an anti-LGBTQ bias.”

Sibley, 28, was stabbed to death outside a gas station in Midwood on July 29, police said.

Gonzalez said Sibley and a group of friends were “dancing joyfully” to Beyoncé music outside the gas station when another group demanded that they stop and began hurling anti-Black and homophobic slurs.

Minutes into the confrontation, police said the 17-year-old suspect stabbed Sibley once. Sibley was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the NYPD said.

The teenage suspect, who is set to be arraigned Friday, faces a minimum of 20 years in jail and a maximum of 25 years to life in jail if he is convicted, Gonzalez said.

“The entire community has been victimized by this senseless victimization of Mr. Sibley,” he said.

“I’m assuring the community that we’re taking this case very seriously, that we’re going to make sure that justice prevails in this case," he added.

Attorney information for the teen wasn’t immediately available Thursday.
