Authorities confirmed Friday that a body removed from the East River on Thursday belongs to 13-year-old Garrett Warren of Harlem.

Warren and 11-year-old Alfa Barrie of the Bronx were last seen around 6 p.m. on May 12, near East 145th Street and Lenox Avenue in Harlem.

Police said both boys were reported missing at different times between Sunday and Monday.

Police are still searching for Barrie, authorities said.

Barrie, who lives on East 167th Street in the Bronx, was last seen wearing a navy sweater with a "Democracy Prep Harlem Middle School" logo, along with gray pants and gray sneakers, police said.

He is described as being 5 feet, 2 inches tall and about 100 pounds.
