For her “State of the City” address Wednesday, City Council Speaker Adrienne Adams called to focus on vulnerable New Yorkers.
Some of her proposals included what she refers to as "deeply affordable" housing, finding jobs for the tens of thousands of residents who are unemployed or underemployed and more.
She also gave a preview of the City Council's budget plan, which is currently being negotiated with Mayor Eric Adams and is due by the end of June.
Speaker Adams joined Errol Louis on "Inside City Hall" Wednesday to discuss more on her speech.
