A man was shot and killed near Times Square Thursday evening, authorities said.

Police said two men began shooting at a 22-year-old man outside a deli near West 44th Street and Eighth Avenue just after 5:30 p.m. 

Idrissa Siby, a 22-year-old Bronx man, was shot in the chest and was taken to Mount Sinai West, where he was pronounced dead, the NYPD said.

Authorities are looking into the possibility that the incident was a drug-related shooting.

No one had been arrested in connection with the shooting as of Friday morning, police said. An investigation is ongoing.
