Straphangers working “9 To 5” will be happy to hear this: In honor of Dolly Parton’s new greatest hits album, the MTA will be distributing 50,000 MetroCards dedicated to the country music legend.
In a statement released Wednesday, the MTA said the cards were to celebrate her upcoming album “Diamonds & Rhinestones: The Greatest Hits Collection.”
Photos showed the cards are decorated with Parton’s signature, and in true Dolly-fashion, plenty of colorful gems.
MetroCard vending machines will begin dispersing the limited-edition cards to commuters as early as today, according to the MTA.
The cards will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis at 34th Street-Penn Station, 34th Street-Herald Square, Grand Central-42nd Street, and Times Square-42nd Street.
Parton’s “Diamonds & Rhinestones” album will be released on Nov. 18.
