Statue of Liberty visitors can once again head up to the crown for the first time in more than two years.
The crown will officially reopen to the public Tuesday after being closed because of COVID-19 concerns since March 2020.
There is no elevator service, and those wishing to see the view from atop Lady Liberty's head must climb 162 steps in close proximity to others, according to the National Park Service.
The reopening Tuesday comes just a few months after the observation deck of the Statue of Liberty reopened to 50% capacity on July 1, according to the park service.
Tickets to the statue’s crown must be reserved in advance through Statue City Cruises, which depart from locations in Battery Park in Manhattan and Liberty State Park in New Jersey.
