A 2-year-old boy who was found alone on a street corner in the Bronx Monday night has been reunited with his family, police said.
A good Samaritan found the child at the corner of Randall and Olmstead avenues in the Castle Hill section of the borough around 11 p.m. on Monday, the NYPD said.
He was reunited with his family at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, according to police.
Police believe the boy wandered out of his home after a door was accidentally left open on Monday.
His family members, who live near where he was found, are not expected to face any criminal charges, the NYPD said.
