New Yorkers interested in becoming city sanitation workers will be able to sign up for the exam this month.
The registration period for the city’s sanitation worker exam will open on Wednesday, June 8 and run through Tuesday, June 28, Mayor Eric Adams, the city’s Department of Sanitation and the city’s Department of Citywide Administrative Services said in a joint press release Tuesday.
Prospective applicants can register online or at a DCAS Computer-based Testing and Application Center, the release said.

“It was one of the best decisions I ever made — it changed my life forever, and in these difficult times, it can do the same for so many of the women and men of our neighborhoods," he added.
