Police have arrested and charged two individuals in connection to a stabbing that took place near a Queens high school last week that left two teenage boys hospitalized, according to the NYPD.

Jamia Dean, 20, and a 16-year-old male and were arrested Sunday, police said in a statement Monday afternoon. Both face attempted murder charges.

Authorities previously said a 17-year-old boy suffered multiple stab wounds to the abdomen and a 16-year-old boy was stabbed in in the leg and back in the incident.

Law enforcement sources told NY1 the boys were able to flee to the school and told administrators they had been stabbed.

The 17-year-old was transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was initially listed in critical but stable condition, police said. The 16-year-old was transported to Long Island Jewish Medical Center in stable condition.

On Monday, police said both teenagers are expected to survive.​
