NEW YORK — The New York City Police Department is investigating a double shooting over the weekend that left one man dead and another injured in East Harlem.
Police say they believe a man shot both victims in a parked car just before 8:15 a.m. Sunday near 138th Street and Fifth Avenue.
Investigators say Charles Buckner, 38, was found dead at the scene.
It is believed the other victim took himself to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm.
He is in stable condition.
There are no arrests yet and the investigation is ongoing.
