STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Police are looking for three men who they say robbed a couple on Staten Island over the weekend.

Surveillance video captured the suspects just after 4:30 a.m. Sunday as they approached the couple who had just parked their car in front of a building near Mapleton Avenue and Freeborn Street in Midland Beach.

The men punched the 37-year-old male victim and stole his wallet.

They also took the 34-year-old female victim's purse which had more than $2,000 in cash inside.

The three men then drove away in a dark colored sedan on Freeborn Street before making a left turn on Hempstead Avenue.
