NEW YORK — Drivers using the Queensboro Bridge will see some lane closures starting Monday so the city can work on replacing the upper deck of the 113-year-old span.

Some lanes on the upper roadway’s Manhattan-bound lanes will be closed every day except Sundays, until further notice.

One Manhattan-bound lane will be closed 24-hours a day.

The second Manhattan-bound lane will be closed during off-peak hours.

That means it will be shut down from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the day, and from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. overnight.

Drivers are encouraged to take mass transit or find alternate routes.
