NEW YORK — Two Hard Rock casinos could be coming to the New York metropolitan area.

New York has three remaining casino licenses to give out in the downstate region.

The hotel chain says they've been making plans for multiple city locations over the past decade.

Hard Rock chairperson Jim Allen says the company will submit an "expression of interest" to officials by mid-December.

The company is already in the process of building another casino just eight miles away in New Jersey.
