A person who climbed the New York Times Building in Manhattan Thursday afternoon has been apprehended, the NYPD confirmed Thursday.

Police confirmed he was taken into custody on the sixth floor of the building.

Videos and photos of the climb were shared on social media.

Several people have climbed the building over the years. Two of the most notable attempts were made in June and July of 2008. Another man was charged with climbing the outside of the building in a 2012 incident.
