NEW YORK - New York's coronavirus positivity rate droped below one percent for the first time since September 24 this past Saturday.
More than 118,000 COVID-19 tests were reported to the state Saturday, and more than 1,000 came back positive.
The state's positivity rate is now 0.96 percent. This includes the state's "red zone" areas for COVID cases.
In those red zones, positivity rates are at 5.74 percent.
Total hospitalizations are at 820, and there were also five COVID deaths.
The governor also reported there have been 12,000,000 COVID-19 tests completed since the pandemic began.
