NEW YORK - Alternate side parking rules resume today, but in a different way.

Through the rest of the summer, drivers will only have to move their cars once per week.

Streets that have multiple alternate side days will be cleaned only on the latest day posted on the sign.

That means if the sign says Tuesday and Friday, you'll only have to move your car on Friday.
