Feeling More Comfortable

We started the day off very humid with dew points near 70. A cold front moving across the northeast will bring in a much drier air mass which will make it feel a lot more comfortable by this evening. Translation: It may feel better running or walking this evening than it did this morning.

Dry Streak

It hasn’t rained in a while. It has been 12 days since Central Park reported any rain and that streak will continue. No significant rain chances are in the forecast until perhaps late in the weekend. We aren’t in a drought situation yet but it’s safe to say it’s much drier than usual.

The Weekend

This is the last weekend of June and it’ll be a hot one. Highs will be in the upper 80s to near 90 both days. Saturday looks sunny and hot and Sunday there’s only a slight risk for a passing thunderstorm with much of the day remaining dry.
