The city says alternate side will return from May 18-24 for what it calls a "clean sweep" across the five boroughs.
After that the rules will be suspended again for two weeks from May 25 through June 7.
During that time the Sanitation Department will reassess and decide if and when street cleaning needs to happen again.
The city first suspended alternate side on March 18 so drivers didn't have to move their cars during the outbreak.
