NEW YORK - Governor Andrew Cuomo announced Sunday at his daily coronavirus news conference that the L Train repair work has been completed.
The plan was completed three months ahead of the current schedule and under budget, saving $100 million, Cuomo said.

Cuomo says the project shows what's possible when New Yorkers challenge the status quo, and says it could be used as an example for the state in its current fight against COVID-19.
"It's hard to make change,” Cuomo said. “It's hard to make change in your own life, let alone on a societal, collective level. But if you don't change, you don't grow. And if you don't run the risk of change, you don't have the benefit of advancement."
Overnight and weekend service will resume on both tracks starting Monday.
