The College Board says the home test would be taken digitally in front of a remote proctor.
Administrators say the rival ACT exam is also gearing up to launch an at-home option in late fall or early winter.
In response to the coronavirus and these cancellations, California’s public universities and several other institutions around the country have made the tests optional for 2021 applicants.
The College Board says it will resume and increase in-person testing in August if it is safe to do so by then.
