A 24-year-old man died in a construction accident on a high-rise in Midtown Manhattan Thursday.
This happened before 4 p.m. at a building under construction on Broadway, between 29th and 30th streets.
Investigators say the victim was heading up to the 33rd floor while in the elevator when his head was crushed by a piece of metal saddle protruding from the elevator shaft.
Officials say two others suffered minor injuries.
