The city's medical examiner has identified another victim of the World Trade Center terror attacks.
The woman is now the 1,644th person identified.
Officials were able to make the confirmation through DNA testing of remains recovered in 2002.
Her name is being withheld at the request of her family.
This identification is the second new one of 2019.
The medical examiner is working to identify all 2,753 people reported missing from the disaster.
So far, about 40 percent of the victims remain unidentified.
