NEW YORK - Police are trying to track down the person who destroyed dozens of LinkNYC kiosks throughout the city.
The electronic kiosks provide free WiFi, phone calls and device charging.
On Friday, someone filed a complaint to police, saying a rock was thrown at a kiosk near Union Square.
LinkNYC says 30 kiosks were smashed, and that security cameras captured the person they believe is responsible.
Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-8477, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
