Those long-talked-about service changes are coming to the L Train this Friday, April 26. But before then, there are overnight service changes we'll have to deal with as well.

The overnight changes start Monday night at 10:30 p.m. and last until 5 a.m. the next morning until this Friday.

On Friday, starting at 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., on Monday morning, L Trains will run every 20 minutes between Brooklyn and Manhattan, and every 10 minutes within Brooklyn.

That frequency of trains will last the entire weekend, every weekend as the major rehabilitation project goes on.

Alternate travel options include increased M, G, and 7 Train service, as well as more frequent M 14 bus services.

Officials also say they are working with environmental consultants and contractors to ensure there is no danger to commuters during the construction.
