NEW YORK - The city's nightlife industry is booming, and shows no sign of slowing down.
That's according to a new study from the new Mayor's Office of Nightlife.
The report says bars, restaurants and clubs generated $35 billion in economic output, and $13 billion in employee wages.
The nightlife economy is actually outpacing the city's overall economy.
The study says it's seeing higher growth in new businesses, jobs and wages.
