A new petition calls for a permanent tribute to former President Barack Obama directly outside Trump Tower.

Organizers want to rename a stretch of Fifth Avenue, between 56th and 57th Streets, "President Barack H. Obama Avenue."

They also want addresses on that stretch of Fifth Avenue to be reflect the name change.

That would make the address at Trump Tower "725 President Barack H. Obama Avenue." 

The petition on moveon.org has more than 20,000 signatures. The goal is to hit 25,000 before it is delivered to the mayor.
