Pope Francis remains in critical condition.

Tuesday marks his 12th day in the hospital, the longest hospital stay of his papacy.

The Vatican says the Pope showed slight improvement in laboratory tests and resumed some work as of yesterday.

But questions continue to swirl about what could be next for the Catholic Church.

David Gibson, director of the Center on Religion and Culture at Fordham University, joined “News All Day” on Tuesday to talk more about the Pope.
