Gov. Kathy Hochul made headlines this week, ordering an independent review of antisemitism and discrimination policies on CUNY campuses across the state.

“Some are fearful of attending class, or eating in the Kosher dining halls. I promise them the state of New York will do everything in its power to protect them,” she said.

This comes after several high-profile protests on college campuses, and death threats were posted at Cornell University — targeting the school’s Jewish population.
