Mikio Mori, ambassador and consul-general of Japan in New York, joined “News All Day” on Friday to talk about the Japan parade and street fair.

Mori says the event is an opportunity to show off traditional culture, pop culture, and food culture.

He says his job is to help promote the friendship, and relationship between Japan and the city.
