New York Fashion Week kicked off on Friday with the return of legendary designer Ralph Lauren.

The Bronx native made his comeback on Fashion Week’s first night with a lavish, star-studded show at Brooklyn’s Navy Yard, after being gone from the city’s annual event for three years.

Among the show’s attendees was NY1’s George Whipple, who appeared on “Mornings On 1” on Monday to recap the occasion.
