Mayor Eric Adams has returned to the city after spending most of the week in Israel.

While touring the country, the mayor held a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, laid a wreath next to the eternal flame at the country’s official memorial to victims of the Holocaust and spent time at several religious sites, including the Western Wall in Jerusalem.

Following the mayor was Emma Fitzsimmons, the City Hall bureau chief at The New York Times, who joined “Mornings On 1” Friday to provide more insight into the trip.
