Gov. Kathy Hochul used strong language on Thursday, demanding President Joe Biden and the federal government take action to help with the increasing flow of migrants in the state.

In her address, she called for expedited work authorizations, significant federal funding, additional shelter sites and reimbursement for the National Guard.

On Friday, Mayor Eric Adams chief of staff, Camille Joseph Varlack, appeared on “Mornings On 1” to respond to Hochul’s comments and echo the call for further assistance.
