New York Assemblywoman Karen McMahon (D-146) calls representing her hometown "a pleasure and such a huge honor."

In her Know Your Electeds interview, McMahon says she's really excited about banning styrofoam across New York state and building on that legislation. McMahon also talks about how her three daughters inspired her to run for office. 

McMahon has represented New York's 146th assembly district since 2019. Her favorite movie is "A Room With A View."
