The counting of ballots in two city council special elections in the Bronx is now complete.
While the Board of Elections has to certify the results in the 15th District race, Oswald Feliz has declared victory after multiple rounds of the ranked-choice voting count.
The district includes areas like Fordham, Belmont, East Tremont and Allerton. It was previously represented by now-Rep. Ritchie Torres.
Feliz joined anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” on Tuesday to talk about his campaign and about what he intends to do in the City Council if his victory is confirmed.
Feliz will have to run again in the June primary and, if he wins, in the November general election to earn a full two-year term in the City Council.
