Since this is the 16th year for Bushwick Film Festival, the theme is "Sweet Sixteen."

Kweighbaye Kotee, CEO of the Bushwick Film Festival, talked about how the festival is coming-of-age and this year’s filmmakers are honoring that. She described how she's worked hard to include diversity in the festival and her films.

Kotee also discussed how artificial intelligence could make a good impact on filmmaking, as long as it doesn't take away the work from creatives.

The festival runs from Oct. 25 through Oct. 29.
