BEND, Ore. — Get your VHS rewinders ready, because you can "make it a Blockbuster night" and have a sleepover at the chain's last store in Bend, Oregon.

The last Blockbuster store in the world is available to rent on Airbnb for three one-night stays in September. But there's a catch: It's only open to residents of Deschutes County, Oregon.

The event was organized by store manager Sandi Harding, who has been with the store for 16 years, as a token of appreciation for the community.

"Our BLOCKBUSTER store is open because of the incredible local community in Bend, and we’ve been grateful to have the support of those beyond our town as the coronavirus pandemic has impacted our business," Harding wrote in the Airbnb listing.

The Blockbuster can sleep up to four people, and comes complete with a 90's living room, plenty of snacks and all the movies you can consume – all at the whopping cost of $4 per night. 

Harding says that keeping customers and guests safe from COVID-19 is a rop priority: "You’ll have the store to yourself from check-in to check-out, and it will be cleaned prior to your arrival in accordance to Airbnb's Enhanced Cleaning Protocol which is informed by recommendations from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Plus we’ll provide you with a pack of face coverings, disinfectant wipes, and endless hand sanitizer!"

"To celebrate and pay it forward in this tradition of support, Airbnb will make a donation to the Humane Society of Central Oregon, a longtime partner of ours," Harding added.

Residents can start making reservations on August 17.
