Calls continue to eliminate controversial NYPD SRG unit are intensifying.

The strategic response group and its bicycle officers came under heavy scrutiny during the Black Lives Matter protests in 2020 because of their aggressive tactics. Activists say SRG is still showing up to protests. The NYPD says changes have been made to the unit.
