LOS ANGELES — The LA Kings have honored Los Angeles first responders in a major way since the January wildfires.

The organization has hosted two first responder nights since the devastating fires erupted three months ago.

Many first responders are getting free tickets.

They also hosted a special charity game, where all the proceeds benefited victims of the fires. During that game, firefighters and police officers got to play with celebrities and NHL legends.

The team will continue honoring first responders at home games throughout the playoffs, with the hero of the game recognition.
