WORCESTER, Mass. - The St. Paul softball team trailed 7-6 heading into the bottom of the 5th inning, the Knights exploded for 8 runs enroute to a 15-7 win over St. Bernard's on Wednesday.  St. Paul was led by Ava Grant who was 3-4 with a home run and 4 RBI, and Ireland Shea who was 5-5  with 3 RBI, and Bella Mara who was 4-5 with 4 RBI.  The Knights were happy with their team resilience, "I think today we really showed we can come back from any moment,"  said Captain, Bella Mara, "we were down the first few innings and I think we finally got our bats going, and we showed that in the past three games, so I think no matter if we're down or not we never give up."

 

St. Paul is 3-1 overall, 2-0 in the Central Mass Conference, while St. Bernard's is 2-2, 0-2.
