WORCESTER, Mass. - The first round of the NFL draft is next Thursday and the New England Patriots have the 4th overall pick, it's a chance for the team to really improve in whatever position they choose, but they have to get the right guy and as history shows us the draft is an inexact science.  Worcester native and 98.5 The Sports Hub's Tim Mckone believes the Patriots will go offensive line with their pick, and try to fill the biggest need on the roster.  "So the Patriots are in a tough spot, they have the 4th pick in the draft and it feels like it's a 3 player draft,"  said Mckone, "I am not a math guy, I'm a sports radio guy but even I can figure out that that's not the math you're looking for if you're a Patriots fan.  So it looks like they're going to be on the outside looking in for those premier players that a lot of people have been talking about.  Whether that's QB Cam Ward who the Patriots don't need, Travis Hunter is a modern day Gordie Lockbaum, a receiver and a corner, I would say a poor man's Gordie Lockbaum, it looks like he's going to go 2nd in the draft, and then Abdul Carter looks like he's going to go 3rd.  So I think they (the Patriots) are going to wind up going with Will Campbell offensive lineman out of LSU.
