A group of women on Staten Island take to the water to help fight back against cancer.

More than a hundred women hit the open water to raise money for breast cancer, as the Staten Island Tuna Club held its fifth annual Pink Ribbon Women's Fluke Fishing Tournament Saturday. The women cast their fishing lures into the water, raising funds for the American Cancer Society. They all competed to see who could catch the biggest fish. Organizers say the women are pretty competitive this year.

One of the organizers,  Capt. Ramez Hawileh says "every year it gets more and more interesting.  It's becoming more competitive and the women are starting to take this a little more serious then just going out and having a good day on the water."

Last year the event brought in more than $17,000 for the American Cancer Society. This year they hope to raise $0,000.
