A flea market on Staten Island is held to help preserve historic buildings in the borough.
The flea market called Yankee Peddler Day returned to Historic Richmond Town Sunday.
It featured antiques and hand-made items and included more than 60 vendors.
The market is part of fundraising efforts to preserve and restore the museum complex which dates back to the mid-1600's.
"It's part of history in general. And it's a great thing for all of the families and kids that live here and we get a lot of visitors from all over the world," said Lucille Stivaletti, Member, Women’s Auxiliary of Historic Richmond Town.
The market was only held Sunday but preservation efforts continue throughout the year. The Women's Auxiliary of Historic Richmond Town raises money for the museum complex by hosting meals at M. Bennett Cafe.
