According to NYC and Company, which runs the two and half weeklong event, Lorenzo's in Bloomfield is the only restaurant west of the Verrazano participating.
"I feel like it gives our guests an opportunity to taste some items that they possibly wouldn't taste, umm, and to really just come down to our venue, enjoy our piano music, maybe a cabaret show," said Lorenzo's General Manger Corinne Arena.
In response, a representative for NYC and Company says quote "NYC & Company strives for five borough participation when organizing NYC Restaurant Week.” Going on to say, “a number of Staten Island dining establishments are invited to participate."
She added that interested restaurant owners can contact NYC and Company for more information.
