Staten Island pets showed off their best costumes all for a good cause.
The third annual Barktober Fest was held on Sunday at Big Nose Kates Saloon in Charleston and featured dogs wearing costumes ahead of Halloween.
The event included a pet costume contest, raffles and live music.
All the money raised goes to Louie's Legacy, an animal rescue group.
"We hope to create a bond between people and their personal pets socializing with rescue animals. A lot of times people only see rescue animals at adoption events. This is a great social way for everybody to intermingle and it just makes for a happy pet community," said Leighanne Donnelly, an organizer.
