Some students are making the grade when it comes to healthy living.
The Staten Island Partnership for Community Wellness and the JCC wrapped-up their "Active Design School Challenge" Monday at Borough Hall.
Students from five schools presented their proposals on how to bring health and wellness into their classrooms.
Teams have been working on the project since October.
These Curtis High School students came-up with a poster campaign encouraging students to stay active and eat right.
"We really wanted to change the behaviors in our school and make sure we take the steps now before it's too late, before there's diabetes, overweight - things like that," said Curtis High School Student Alei Paige.
Program sponsors will give each team $2,000 to complete their project.
