Borough entrepreneurs are taking their businesses into the digital age.

The Staten Island Business Outreach Center hosted a free web design workshop Tuesday at its West Brighton headquarters.

Participants learned how to build their own webpages from start to finish during the day long crash course.

They say they're excited to put their new skills to the test.

"You literally come in with like just you know...okay where am I? To..I have a website in one day," said West Brighton Resident Ramonita Perez.

"If you do not have a website it's almost like your business does not exist. So we're very happy to give this for small business owners hands-on so they can see how to go about making at least a 1-page website," said SIBOC Executive Dir. Loretta Cauldwell.

The center hosts free workshops throughout the year.
