President Donald Trump announced his reciprocal tariffs he implemented for most countries will be paused for the next 90 days, except for China.

The administration’s 10% tariff on nearly all global imports will still remain and tariffs on China have been increased to 125%.

Meanwhile, the Dow ended nearly 3,000 points up Wednesday, economists say it’s too soon to celebrate.

The tariffs against China are still likely to impact the price of U.S. imports like smartphones, laptops, video game consoles and more.

Also, the relationship between America and China remains strained.

Martin Chorzempa, a senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics, joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Wednesday to discuss more.

Chorzempa specializes in financial reforms and regulation in China.
