The Morgan Library & Museum is honoring its inaugural director, Belle da Costa Greene.
The exhibit pays tribute to the incredible efforts made by Greene to build the collection of rare books and manuscripts originally formed by financier J. Pierpont Morgan.
From her roots in Washington D.C. to her career at what is now one of the greatest research libraries in the country, Greene's story is as incredible as the ones told in the books on the museum’s shelves.
Anchor Stephanie Simon sat down with the curator Philip Palmer.
